Dermot Byrne narrates and performs a comprehensive workshop on the origins of the blues, tracing its roots in the African/American worksong and spirituals, and demonstrates the diverse guitar and vocal styles of the country blues masters such as Robert Johnson, Son House, Fred McDowell and others.
